Yea we knew meghan Trainor sang backgrounds on this song. She also wrote it.  Tyrese was just on R&B money podcast talking about how he left J Valentines voice on his backgrounds because tyrese doesn't sing bgvs. The only people that push this narrative of "OMG SOMEONE ELSE IS ON THE BACKGROUNDS!!!" Are people who know nothing of music creation.  People sing other people's bgvs all the time :omf:
