"In the United States, Music of the Sun sold 69,000 and debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200 album chart in the chart issue dated September 17, 2005." - Billboard.com

This album will most likely remain her lowest selling for some time.

Well she might have competition from Anti  :feelinmyself:

The real concern should be, is the album hot or not?
:dead:
Was there a hot single?

Chris's album that had "Loyal" on it, didn't sell well, but when I think back on it - i won't remember the album, but i'll remember that smash hit.
Ciara's "RIDE" and "BODY PARTY" slays beyond most female R&B acts in the past years, and i don't even know what albums they came from and don't care.

Music > Sales

Oh hush

Hey love.

Lol. But Iman, why are you guys picking this girl apart?
Whats up with that?

15k is :feelinmyself:

it doesn't count, love. that's from ONE DAY of sales. not a sales WEEK.
:dead:

it's not different than when DC release her final album a day before the real date and sold 19k, without a full week.

Well, the 15k is only from Tidal after an "accidental" ( :bvy: ) release coupled with the fact that the album was pretty much free.

I think Work is gonna smash and the singles might book a bit. :ohwow:

Tbh. The 125k wouldn't look AS BAD if Grace hadn't went on bumping her gums to the press about a 400k mess out in a hour.

But...she did lolz

They're kinda on the same level... they just have different strengths.

One can sell albums and tour while the other is more of a singles artist. Rih has more international appeal tho.
