But after I saw the movie and heard Halle's version, I went back to listen to Jodi's version and it didn't wow me as much as Halle's did.

Halle's version really raised the bar. Now when I listen to the original it doesn't sound how I remember it. It's a softer and smaller delivery, but it used to sound so grand.
