Makes sense. Who's watching an awards shows live on a weekend? Who's watching at all? People tune in for their favs to perform/receive and dip.

I remember when it used to air on Thursdays, but then Sundays pretty much became the norm. However airing the VMAs on a Tuesday is pretty uncommon. Cancel this. :dead:

BET used to do their award shows on Tuesday nights when I was in high school. Havent watched any of their award shows really since. That was back when artists used to release albums on Tuesdays too. I dont see a big issue with Tuesdays. Kids get home from school and can sit and watch when they get home. Kids and young adults these days aint watching TV like that on weekends.
