Well she did say this is just a Christmas album and not B8. I'm sure she gonna promote it way more in December and when her album come out, she definitely gonna be everywhere.

Also she could be busy shooting a movie or something.

@DopeSoul. With all due respect Que Legacy acts worry about sales brother sorry to disappoint you. That's how boost about their careers.  Brandy has to act like a legend if she wants to be respected as one. The fact all her tragedies get more press than her actual career is a problem.


@Girl From Rio I'm not buying the passion card. As others have said she could have done an Mixtape or EP. We could have gotten music more sooner too. Please why go to a major to release it? It's not adding up.

Artist like Usher, Beyonce, and Cher are being profile on a daily basis by shows like Entertainment Tonight and big publications because they're teams are on it. New Edition is a legacy act to me yet they were on Sherri promoting their appearance at Macy's parade.

Why wait so long In between releases just to release an album and not promote it. Show no enthusiasm about it, and not have it visible.

If she doesn't care to release music but still loves making music and sharing it with fans just do mixtapes.

This whole situation is giving me she wants OWT of her deal with Motown now that Ethiopia is gone, so she threw together a Christmas album to fulfill her contract.

The fact that she recorded it in 4 months and not 4 years like usual.

Because Brandy didn't stop being with an indie distributor and sign up for movies for no reason. It's called the entertainment business aka people want to make money. Brandy heavily relies on her team and goes with their moves. If Ryan isn't running that team well then she's just going to go with it.  Her team wings it.

If Brandy signing up for more acting while being against heavily promoting production companies are going to start to take notice. B8 isn't coming anytime soon and it's going to be the same thing because her team will continue to remain the same.

Nah, not necessarily.  It doesn't have to give NSN era. But a few interviews on the Black talk show circuit (Sherri. JHud, Dish Nation), a late night show or two won't kill her. It's the only time we gonna see her perform most of these songs, especially since she doesn't tour as much.
