To offer a different perspective. Unlike many of her peers, Brandy has two demanding careers she has to balance. She is not just a singer. She is an actress as well. It is not an easy task to take on both. Hence the reason, many artist choose one over the other. The reason why artist like Beyoncé and Usher can put together stadium tours and dedicate their all to music, is because they are not dealing with another career. They may act here and there but it is not on the level we have seen Brandy do it on. Also things happen outside of an artist control. We do not know why the GMA performance was rescheduled but at least it was and she provided an update. I believe she is shooting a movie and that is the reason why we have not seen much promotion for the Christmas album. I think her team should consider hiring a social media manager to focus on developing and putting out content for her when she is unable to do it herself due to her work schedule.
