marriage is overrated and outdated tbh

I know I don't want to get married or have my significant other to move in with me, just yet
There's many people around me getting married, having kids... sacrificing other factors in their lives, which is not appealing to me.
I'd rather focus on my career.
But every now and again, I feel a little...

But I know deep down I wouldn't be happy with that kind of setup right now

It's scary to even think about dealing with some man for the rest of my life. Yuck.

yeh i think our generation is probably the first to wake up and question why we do the things we do

who invented this idea of getting married to one person and staying with that person your whole life.

It's actually better while you're young for you and the person you're dating to have your own space.
and especially no to the Marry thing.  Its a wonderful thought but nahhhh not until im like late 30's do I wanna see a ring mess.

I know I'm not ready for that. A guy I used to date got engaged like 3 times in an 8 month span and in between the times that he and I dated. He was so desperate to marry somebody and he said that he was scared to be with me because he felt that I wouldn't settle down with just him. In other words, he wanted to marry me and I was gonna say "no" off the rip, because I'm not ready. However, he eventually got married back in December, so good for him.
