i been wondering about this.  thats awesome.  i love he is keeping his word about it.  He LOVES bran so hopefully she is included.

it was cancelled yeah and the fans tried to rally to get it not cancelled.  they had a petition with over 100k signatures. Rumors were it was gonna be moved to BET or OWN but it didn't happen. lee said he was so overwhelmed by the fans support that he was going to do a 2 hr movie to wrap up the story line. That was in 2019 though but looks like he still plans to keep his word

i thought she was. not the first few episodes but once she got comfortable she slayed.  did you watch whole series?

Cassie is Brandy's greatest performance imo.

Yeah Brandy was great as Cassie. So many people who aren't hyper critical stans seemed to enjoy her and were entertained by her in this role.
