This is so sad imo. It seems like nothing really has changed and black artists still have to jump through hurdles just to succeed.

And her point about black celebs being afraid to speak out is powerful. It's a sticky situation all around.

It's good to see someone speak on colorism, I feel like there's been so much (necessary) focus on the injustices brought against by white people we're overlooking the injustices within our community.
