I think people are confusing a masculine voice with a non-masculine voice
with talking black or white
in terms of males

people tend to think dark/strong/masculine voice for black males vs white males

Black women have deeper fuller voices, too, for the most part.

I was always one who agreed with the whole, "no! oh! Its just proper English, dummy!" And I never paid it any more attention past that, but I saw this Black guy today, and his ACCENT was White. His twang. He was definitely talking White. It was his English coupled with that White "way" of speech.

You can speak proper English all day and still sound Black.

9/10, if you heard an adult Black male with great English on the phone without knowing his race, his voice still has that depth, that soul, that seasoning, that something that let's you know he's a brother.

So yeah, I disagree now, when people say there's no such thing as talking White.
