It was a ki but it's not that deep. I think she was just trying to recognize that the designer was a minority, like we'd say "a black designer" or "black owned business." It just felt more unprofessional in this context because designers expect to be mentioned and have their big moment. So I understand both sides... she should've made sure she recalled her designer's name out of respect, and shit happens..
