Certifications in the streaming era should've really been based on how much a song profited versus fake streams bc for a song like this from 35 years ago to be viewed the same as a gold single in 2024 makes zero sense.

Her entire album was certified. She only pursued this after the Twitter account  Music Data provided the info. Good for her for not giving up and finally earning her first gold album.

So many artists' albums and singles are uncertified that need to be or their certifications need to be updated.
