Why do i feel like this movie had less of an impact than descendants and best christmas ever when we thought this was going to be the biggest one of them all?

It just came out...

i read an article saying that it was a24s worst rated recent movie on rotten tomatoes and the overall worst opening for a horror movie this year.

But Queens also got terrible reviews and still opened up doors for Brandy.

I think the visibility will be good for her in the long run.

sure but one underperforming project opening up the door for another underperforming one isnt really a book. I did love queens tho and havent seen this movie yet.

Queens led to a variety of opportunities and exposure though...who knows what doors this film will open.

Also - for context - Full Moon's reviews were not that great. It was even labeled "face-less R&B"

But we all know the legend of Full Moon all these years later.

Not saying The Front Room is legend. But you never know how things can fare later on.

I definitely enjoyed it, but wish the ending was better. Brandy's acting was extremely good.

I expected an Obsessed-esque fight that would lead to Solange's death

solange could barely keep her self standing up with those 2 canes. much less win a hand to hand combat lol but i guess she was faking most of her ailments

yeah i personally dont think she had any powers. She was just one of those racist white "christians" but i think the scar healing so quickly and all the super natural stuff was maybe in Belindas head cause she let Solange get to her. It just seemed real to her at the time. Could be wrong tho

Right lol like honestly you kinda feel bad for solange when it's all said in done. She really didn't do anything that evil. I would've loved for her to truly been evil and like tried to kill Lowry , or really had powers over Belinda's husband or something . She was nuts and annoying af but was the ME SSS and redecorating that serious? Lol she paid off her damn home, refurnished the home , had a prayer circle , and knocked her own fucking teeth out lol big deal?
