I blame a24 they put zero money into the advertising campaign for this film . They limited it to social media advertising not one tv commercial no billboards or tv interviews. Anyone who went and saw this film were Brandy fans but the general audience had no idea this movie was out

just from reading the a24 forums though it seems there was NO interest in this movie and most people said it looked like it wasnt even an a24 movie cause its so bad. So i dont think promo was the only issue.

yeah ppl would have supported brandy if they knew. this may be a future cult classic, though i still say someone at a24 in their marketing dept needs to be fired.

Brandy still could had promoted it more. She barely posted about it. A lot of people that I know didn't even know Brandy had a movie in theaters. They all was down to check it out.

I think Brandy don't fuck with this movie at all and hope her doing movie didn't fuck her up mentally.
