IDK why some groups bring background singers
The Clark Sisters have them too
But Queens killed
and there's endless clips of them singing on their own

The background singers were not it for me. I didn't mind the idea of it but better ppl could've been selected I guess

Also - them not performing Use Your Heart on this platform was a missed opp... I would've took that instead of Always On My Mind with her son

This was still cute and amazing for them though

They don't really perform "Use Your Heart" because Taj is afraid of cracking.
And a lot of times when they do perform it they leave her part out.
I hate that because Taj part is the best fkn part of that song.

They performed Use Your Heart on tour
and on Verzuz so I don't think it's really that big of a deal

Taj was coughing and looked like she had a cold.

Coko's voice is still amazing but it has lost some of its piercing power. Which is understandable at 50+.

The Clark Sisters only introduced backing singers when the older sisters were 60+. This is very understandable. They been SANGING their whole life.

The eldest Jackie Clark is 75 and her vocals are still very much intact in 2024. Dorinda wax sounding better than ever the other day at 66 and Karen is still a very much a POWERHOUSE.
