So Mufasa is a BASTARD and came n took everything from Scar? Yea, I'm not watching this mess. I feel like it's gonna make me HATE Mufasa. They should've just made a Scar movie.

And isn't this basically the same storyline of Simba's Pride (Lion King 2)?

I miss the days of animation. Which looked more like cartoons.

It looks like Mufasa saved the kingdom from those white lions, so everyone anointed him king. Scar's dad had been king, so it made sense that he felt the position was taken from him.

Gilgamesh.

Visually it's stunning but I'm not sure...

It's a shame what Disney has become

I think this storyline is gonna backfire on them. People are gonna empathize with Scar and now see Mufasa as nothing more than a bastard. They didn't think this mess through..

Lions don't inherit prides, this movie seems to follow reality. It seems like Mufasa and Scar will take over another pride like brother lions do in the wild.
