Because the theme this year is The Past, Present and Future.

Coldplay was asked to pick artists based on that theme.

This isnt the 1st time The Halftime Show had a medley of artists performing together.

This isnt the 1st time The Halftime Show had a medley of artists performing together.

Not when a major act is the headliner. Beyonce would NEVER share the stage with Taylor Swift and Rihanna on HER Super Bowl set... ESPECIALLY with as many hits Coldplay has...so curious how this will go...
