Her album and singles were initially set for 2002 but her label pushed it back because she was transitioning from her independent label to fully being signed directly to her major label.

They should've kept with it tbh and her label should've listen to her when she wanted to put out Why You Gotta Look So Good? A better single choice imo.

I also think Mya needed a relatable single to connect to her black women audience. After fallen she should've went with taste this.

That was her Beyoncé me myself and I, Ashanti rain on me, Monica so gone moment.

She needed a video that showed her in a more gritty light. She was always pretty and polished. She would've ate a Angela basset waiting to exhale moment at that time.

Maybe have a rapper on the remix. 50 cent, Jarule or eve, Kim or missy at the time.
