Alfre Woodard's character in The Family that Preys was a secret millionaire, Sanaa was well off too and worked at the firm with the Cartwright's

Mea in Mea Culpa was another successful lawyer who was taking care of her husband

We all know the context of "black woman strugglin" especially as it relates to accusations that are often thrown at Tyler Perry

Saying all he shows Black women dealing with is: Baby daddy drama , on food stamps/drugs , living in the projects, catching AIDS

it's an often recycled talking point used against Tyler . Just be ready to stand behind it once challenged. Don't try to remix it once the going gets tough
