Prime example is how Diddy has been the good guy who promotes love and throws amazing parties, everyone wants to be around him so any person who had a disagreement with him (and there have been MANY) was outcasted. Ma$e and Aubrey O'Day, among others, aren't looking so crazy after-all now, huh?

Aamerie.

Mase set it off lowkey. I posted but yall paid it. I felt the energy THEN

Probably ignored because the song sucks but wow, he really did.

I'm guilty myself for defending the likes of these figures bc the evilness just sounded so farfetched.

Diddy has always been seen as a trash individual. He was rich, popular and had a talent for finding and signing great artists but no one saw him as a good person. 99.9999% of ppl signed to him have been complaining about it since the 90s. We saw how he treated DaBand, Danity Kane and Day26 in real time. Who was calling anyone crazy?

The gp definitely saw him as a modern saint who always did good things despite enforcing a work ethic for the sake of his reality shows, let's not.

I'm exaggerating a bit, tf. Sue me. But you mean to tell me those lifetime achievement awards and way he was regarded meant he was public enemy number one tho?

@JCJ 🪐  nnnn Bow definitely has a point tho.

Diddy won the "Global Icon Award" at the MTV VMAs just 12 months ago. He even brought out his daughters to have them promote his new album.

He was definitely seen as a good person before Cassie filed that lawsuit last year.

Lucid Salvatore

I just went on YouTube and MTV deleted his performance and acceptance speech from last year's award show nnnnn  :dead:

well regardless of his indiscretions he is an Icon. That doesn't really speak to his character.

personally i dont think he deserves to be called an "Icon" anymore

there's more to that type of title than just numbers and other measurable/verifiable success

character DOES speak to someone's worthiness of being called an "Icon", a title that is kinda synonymous with "Legend".

at this point i'd keep it factual and say he was highly influential within his lane of entertainment and saw a lot of success.
Project started: 2014
Wrapped up: 2024

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated to be only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.
