it's not uncommon for victims of sexual assault to take years to reveal or hold their attacker accountable

ummmmm this not uncommon at all for people who experienced sexual assault.  I'm sorry but I find people like this so weird. A woman says they were sexually assaulted and the IMMEDIATE response is not to believe them. I just think that's SO WEIRD :dead:

I'm proud of her for coming out and speaking her truth.

I'm sure Dawn felt like he would (and could) ruin her if she uttered a word of this until now.
