Are ya'll aware that YouTube has blocked many live versions and versions online because of this lawsuit that is unsettled?

There are many timeless live versions she's done in the UK and in the US that have been totally taken down. You can't even play the song, but the official Atlantic video still works.

Yea but I was thinking more about the fact that they can just snatch music for legal reasons and also raise their price whenever they want. We've become so dependent to whatever their conditions are. Downloading was cool cause once you had it, it's yours.

Kinda unrelated but still a similar situation. Charmed have edited all their episodes and changed the original music to some basic stock music cause they didn't wanna pay the original musicians for the streaming license. So basically only people who own the DVDs can watch the real mess like it was shown originally on TV.

I finally added some of my old music files to my phone..local files on Spotify. It's really nice to hear the mixes and unreleased again. I have noticed the Datpiff archive has been fully deleted from archive.org the other day, luckily most of us have those unreleased songs. I have been going through those archives since last month.. I think YouTube has the more rare Brandy songs and remixes. There's still a lot missing online. Talk about our love (extended version) for example, I really love that version..It's been on repeat this whole week.
