For what it's worth, on the physical single for TBIM Remix, it says Brandy appears courtesy of Motown.

I'm sure things have changed with Ethiopia's departure which could partly explain the delay in new music, but I think she is still

That's good news! We also know Bran gets very quiet when she's working so maybe she will surprise us and gag us with some new music soon. I'd love that, I know last year she mentioned adding new songs to the Xmas album too.

In many ways -- Brandy is blessed to be able to enjoy her lifestyle without having to work.

Brandy has actually been working! She had 2 movie premiers this year , album last year , Christmas movie last year etc she just does the promotion required and doesn't interact unless she is promoting her projects. I'm sure she will pop back up when it's time to promote the Christmas album again lol if it's not about a check, she's not on social media or out at red carpets or awards etc I think Bran has been a recluse for some years honestly . We have to remember that Bran has been in this industry since she was 14 and she's probably over it.  On top of the seizure and other health scares ( passing out on planes) etc sis just probably wants to live a normal life outside of when she's working.
