i remember a couple years ago, Oph making a thread asking if we could ever forgive Stacey Dash and he was kinda surprised when I said no.

and to clearly define what i'd consider a troll:

someone who intentionally pushes controversial/edgy POVs for attention and reactions.
someone who intentionally thinks of exactly what a person / group of people DON'T want to hear, and voices it to garner reaction/emotion.

calling someone a troll isn't really an excuse. it just speaks to how TRANSPARENT they are with their antics.

Nicki is definitely trolling.

but there are still real life consequences for trolling. calling someone a "troll" doesn't minimize the impact their actions might have  on themselves or others.

there are a lot of people who neatly fit what i'd define as a troll.
we don't have to look far at ALL to identify them.

just constantly pushing for reactions and emotions from people
"look! im being offensive and edgy! come get meh!"

u just have to know when you're dealing with one and handle them accordingly
as they sit around tryna figure out which button to push to get wat they want.



this is why i say calling someone a "troll" isn't meant to minimize what they're doing
no doubt - it's still kinda SAD. cuz you def find yourself wondering: why don't they ever appear to be happy? or lighthearted...or just chilled out? why is it ALWAYS a mission to get on people's nerves?

but calling a spade what it is, just shows that you see right through them.

i'm sure the act of trolling falls under the guide of transparency. actually saying that you're trolling would be transparency. at this point, honestly, some nicki fans have just been chalking her behavior up to trolling as an alternative to accepting the possibility that she actually believes what she's saying. and it's getting harder to deny, because i don't see her making visits to the UN, sitting with erika kirk, and saying all these things that are hurting her brand just for the sake of being able to troll. it just doesn't square imo.

i'm 100% for people celebrating who they are and their history. if ur mixed with China or Indian or watever that's AWESOME. embrace that. but if you BLACK imma need see u speaking up for and about that too. and protecting and defending it when necessary.
