Nice!   Brandy recorded this in like 2018 when she was doing B7 in the early stages though. This is kinda old lol it's amazing how she would probably sing this completely differently today    Queen.

I feel like they are doing too much on the new version. One of the things I love the most about "Best Friend"
is how simple it is. Not any harmonies until the bridge and very few. Not too many runs on it either.
They are all over the place with it now.

I don't like this. There was a simplicity to the original that made it stand out just that voice, the riffs and that incredible production is all I needs. Ray shouldn't touch her songs not now not ever lolz

But I'm actually not TOO mad at this. Yeah, she running too damn much, but she could have easily used her lower register on this song since it IS lower and she is comfortable there these days. But she chose to sing on top and it sounds nice. Just less runs Queen and we'd love this.
