I feel like I'm trying to force myself to like it. It just wasn't good. I think they were so desperate for a political and cultural moment in history, overlooking that Kendrick just doesn't have it to carry a Super Bowl. It felt more like VMAS performance.

Rap music just doesn't translate well to a massive stadium stage. The half time show should be reserved for pop artists and rock artists. These rappers really don't know how to put on a show.

It was a really good show but the music was meh, I loved everything about it except for the music. We have a problem when Not Like Us is the "best" song..

I thought Dr. Dre did a great job a few years ago. But he brought out Snoop, Em, Mary J, and 50 Cent. People know their songs even if they don't listen to rap music.

I think Kendrick did a good job putting his music into a show, but he doesn't have songs that everyone knows and they don't translate well onto that big stage.

On top of that, Kendrick performing with Dr. Dre and co. was MORE than enough. A headlining show from him was unnecessary.

That being said, I love how uncomfortable he made white America and the production for the show was superb. Overall great job but would've been better from someone with better singles.

I think those would've gave the performance more UMPH cuz he is a great performer for a rapper he has the stage presence and the personality on lock
