Growing up in the 90s you never saw so many kids with severe autism, ADHD and other behavioural issues. Definitely something is up.

But now that we are hyper aware of what to look for lots more diagnosis

a lot of autistic kids in the 90s were written off as shy, disengaged, or just sensitive, lazy and difficult. That's why so many adults now are getting a late diagnosis. There's just more awareness of the ignorance previous generations had.
