Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated to be only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

I've always thought Camille McDonald from Cycle 2 favored Beverly a bit, especially when she wears that middle part with black hair. :ohwow:

at first reading this I was like "Camille ?  "

But that actually makes sense to me once I thought about it cuz Camille looks a lot like my older sister (who used to model) and I've def seen a lot of pics of GODverly in her younger days where the resemblance to my sis is kinda striking.

Im in luv with this woman 😍

I see a little bit of Beverly mixed with Meagan Good. This bitch is GORGEOUS. I really wanted her to win her cycle too. They couldn't handle her. :howfestive:

I couldn't stand Yoanna during her cycle. Ugh, she was so sensitive about everything, but her mug was undeniable. :flamebroiled:

Camille was definitely a DIVA. Those early ANTM seasons had the best looking models.

A couple snaps of young GODverly give Nicki teas too

She could kinda pass for Nicki here

I think it's the fuller face (which we rarely got/get to see on Beverly vvvvvvvvvv) that pushes her to Nicki teas.

Her daughter def gives Nicki vibes
Just Fine af

But she actually looks a lot more like Nickis sister Ming
