I can't for the life of me understand why lipsyncing is such a big deal for some of you. She has proven herself vocally yearsssssss ago. And also, just about everyone who performs with all the stage theatrics lipsyncs these days.
If you can take AI, then you should be able to take lipsyncing. Get with the times. It is what it is. She is definitely
settled in and has become quite the master of pre-recorded vocals, and I'm sure it won't be changing anytime soon.

1- Because we haven't heard a live vocal in years and years

2- She is no dancer. So vocals are very important

3- NO ONE likes AI

I think it's just something special about hearing a live vocal. That's the whole point of paying for a live show . However, I've been a Brandy Stan for a long time and have no doubts about her gift and knows that she has lipped on and off since the Afro era.

I don't really care at this point I just hate that I ruined it for myself by watching previous shows and knowing every vocal she was about to do before she did it so it just took away from the magic for me.  I blame myself for that but it's all good it was still an amazing show.

I saw the show online so I definitely understand this but she also isn't doing anything vocally on this tour that us real obsessed fans haven't already heard. She's sounds good but I've heard her sing these songs better...the whole opening act and the Brokenhearted/PTOE/He Is sections we have heard her sing much better and less filtered.

I went to the Dallas show last night. I had an amazing time and it was so great to see Ghan doing her thing. I will say it's true she is 1000% lipping the entire show and if you've watched the clips online it's the the exact same vocal. I honestly wished I would've not watched any of them . Besides that she did an incredible job. Honestly everyone did.

I went to the Brooklyn show last month and all of her vocals were not lipped.

Some parts but not all. Tf

I've been to two shows. At the Detroit show, a good amount of it was lipped but she definitely sung "I Thought" live. She also skipped the beginning dance break of "I Thought" (probably unrelated). She also for sure did "I wanna dance with somebody" live.

Those are two I can say for sure was live.

It's not a big deal but when nothing is sung live the entire tour then it is a big deal and concerning b/c why would you choose to lip an entire tour when you don't have to. When we look back at clips, every clip will be the exact same b/c the essence of the live vocal performance has been lost

I was just hoping Brandy would've added a lil acapella moment or something since it's been so long since we've had a tour from her. I know she's a perfectionist tho and I can't imagine the pressure of putting together a show of this magnitude, but for me I was like oh wow she's really lipping like most of it.

I thought she would've maybe atleast switched up the track every few shows lol there was also no new songs added so I'm wondering if Frank was just chatting.

How people who love vocals dont have an issue with prerecorded vocals is crazy. SOMETIMES yea sure. Brandy pretty much EXCLUSIVELY lips performances. Someone coined the vocal Bible shouldn't be lipping EVERY performance.  A prerecorded vocal takes the opportunity for us the fans to get a REAL authentic performance from her. There will NEVER be a time Brandy gets lost in a vocal performance because she has effectively rendered that IMPOSSIBLE.  I want feeling and authenticity and that will never be in a prerecorded vocal. Also, she limits herself. Go watch a fantasia performance or a jazmine performance. Moments where the song should  end but it goes on a lil longer because the VIBE requires us to run it a lil longer. Also, theres no way Brandy should not have a song like ACAPELLA (something is missing) in her live repertoire.  That song is QUINTESSENTIAL Brandy. The harmonies,  bgvs, etc.  It would be AMAZING if done live but she'll never give herself the opportunity because again SHE LIMITS HERSELF to these super planned, overly calculated ass performances that are void of ANY real feeling. Talmbout why are we bothered by a FULL lipped concert.  How tf are you NOT!?!! Brandy aint fckn Janet Jackson , Jlo or Britney
Spears. She ain't putting on no full out dance sequences. There's no way a mf like her shouldn't be singing live AT ALL in a show. I'm sorry but I'm SUPER unimpressed with the ACTUAL show, eventho I'm glad that she's getting her shine. I'll never go see her live again tho.......EVER
