Not comparing her to AI. I'm comparing her method to AI, cause well, they are kind of cousins.
It's not completely real/live but meant to give just that.

Only thing is, if I were to do lip syncing, I would at least do 4 different versions of the songs and
mix and match the different versions together here and there throughout the tour, just to give an even more
believable vocal performance.

With Brandy, her isms and adlibs are so memorable and catchy that they stick with us, and we know exactly
what's coming. She should get more creative with that since this is clearly a part of her artistry.

I'm at peace with it. Her voice is so good, I will take what I can get. Also, this is why her actual voice
is not shot like many veteran artists today and will be preserved for years to come. So I'll take it.

How people who love vocals dont have an issue with prerecorded vocals is crazy. SOMETIMES yea sure. Brandy pretty much EXCLUSIVELY lips performances. Someone coined the vocal Bible shouldn't be lipping EVERY performance.  A prerecorded vocal takes the opportunity for us the fans to get a REAL authentic performance from her. There will NEVER be a time Brandy gets lost in a vocal performance because she has effectively rendered that IMPOSSIBLE.  I want feeling and authenticity and that will never be in a prerecorded vocal. Also, she limits herself. Go watch a fantasia performance or a jazmine performance. Moments where the song should  end but it goes on a lil longer because the VIBE requires us to run it a lil longer. Also, theres no way Brandy should not have a song like ACAPELLA (something is missing) in her live repertoire.  That song is QUINTESSENTIAL Brandy. The harmonies,  bgvs, etc.  It would be AMAZING if done live but she'll never give herself the opportunity because again SHE LIMITS HERSELF to these super planned, overly calculated ass performances that are void of ANY real feeling. Talmbout why are we bothered by a FULL lipped concert.  How tf are you NOT!?!! Brandy aint fckn Janet Jackson , Jlo or Britney
Spears. She ain't putting on no full out dance sequences. There's no way a mf like her shouldn't be singing live AT ALL in a show. I'm sorry but I'm SUPER unimpressed with the ACTUAL show, eventho I'm glad that she's getting her shine. I'll never go see her live again tho.......EVER

Ever! Is kinda dramatic. I'm sure she'll sing live at smaller venues where it is more intimate. I think she just moreso wants to put on a show nowadays(since Afro release)

Monica is doing more "live" singing but she dodged notes and didn't really sound like herself in Brooklyn imo.

I loved know what run and riff  Brandy will do already going into the show 

Monica is not trying to hit or hold any notes lol I don't see why she even agreed to do this tour. Her entire shtick is her feeling the songs and doing unnecessary extra stuff. I'm somewhat happy she's lipping too though bc she talks entirely too much at her shows and since the show has to keep flowing she isn't allowed to talk as much. But yeah she should've waited until her vocal cords got better and did this. Maybe on the 30th anniversary.

With all this said...I still really enjoyed both of them a lot.

I'm not sure that logic quite tracke. a pre-recorded vocal is just a recorded version of a human being singing. it's completely real, it's just not live. ai is purely computer generated. it's neither real nor live and very rarely fools anyone.

also, people don't like the use of AI, so comparing it to bran's "method" also isn't a really positive look.

Yea I'll always support her in some way im just not going to anymore concerts is all. My money is HARD EARNED and I want it spent on things that dont have me walking away with buyer's remorse

i think only the CORE fan base is lookin for what we were as far as lip syncing and figuring out the vocals are the exact same etc. 

Someone in here said this tour was for the casual fan and i def think thats true. it is for those who want to hear the singles ADC, HYE, baby and all that.  We have heard those live 1million times cause are always lookin for brans performances online and such. Bran basically performed her BOB album mess.

I really hope she does a 2nd leg and changes things up. Less men dancing more women dancing and less clothes. lol

and im so grateful that yes ive been great. i was just super busy juggling a lot at once and had literally 0 room for my energy to go elsewhere. wont go too much into much detail but all good things.

even better now that i have gotten things under better control and can make more room for pointlessly FUN things. BSource being one of them.

but i was still keeping up with BSource in the meantime.  and takin notes of who tried it with my queens . so a few draggings are in the pipeline lolz
