Idk if she developed a vocal issue or  what...but she hasn't been the same as a performer since then and all her recordings have become overproduced since then as well.

I think Brandy has good & bad days vocally and doesn't wanna chance it in a live setting. I also think she's in her head a lot because of the "vocal bible" moniker. That along with alleged health issues. Idk. She was very hoarse in that video with Maia Campbell the other day.

Now it's very "just happy to be here" vibes and the reliance on backing tracks is insane.
