Anywho bih I got the tea on why despite Livenation purposely leaking the tour dates through ticketmaster the deal has yet to be signed on the dotted line.

Apparently Brandy & Monica are having disagreements on who should get top billing. Brandy and her team feel Brandy & Monica is what the public is familiar with and that should be the billing. Monica says she will agree to it if she can close every show. Monica feels while she has consistently toured Brandy has not and her catalog has more to offer due to fans being more familiar with her material. Brandy said wait a minute MISS THANG I am called THE VOCAL BIBLE for a reason. Do not downplay my music because your later hits are more popular when my oldest hits outsold your entire catalogue!

Livenation got involved hoping to seal the deal for this tour but it only added fuel to the fire. Brandy said either they do an even rotation of the main acts opening and closing or she is not going to do the tour. She also is not budging on her name coming first and getting top billing. Brandy thinks this is more than fair. Monica doesn't see it that way. She says if she performs first it will hurt the tour. People will leave after her set and Brandy will be performing to an empty stadium!! LAWD Goonica is a whole SHADE TREE.

Brandy suggested they follow the format of XSCAPE and SWV's tour and fuse their setlist together with them each singing a few songs and the other comes out. Monica says absolutely not that would require her to work twice as hard because she would have to work the entire 2 hour set. She wants to do her set close with TBIM and leave. Monica has no plans of showing up until 15 minutes before Brandy is done performing!

Brandy said NO WAY if she has to be there the entire show so does Monica! Brandy says the only way she would do that is if they sing The Boy Is Mine at the end of of Monica's set but she has to close the entire tour because she is the best seller with the biggest hits She says since Monica cannot stay the entire show she can open they do their duet and Monica can get her goons and geaux!! YASS QUEEN!! Brandy said buh I am accommodating but I ain't no punk!!

Chile so this is why the 3rd week after the leak no deal has been signed. Livenation leaked the dates hoping the ladies would quickly come to terms and announce the store. No bueno.

My anonymous source told me that Sonja Norwood came out of retirement to make sure that if this tour is greenlit Brandy gets everything she deserves. She feels Brandy's career has been disrespected by the industry for too long. Monica feels like Brandy and her mummy can catch a fade if need be nobody is bullying her!

I understand it from both sides. Monica is like girl you semi retired from music (aka fell off) a long time ago. I am still booking shows and never really fell out of favor or lost my audience. You may have a bigger name and be more legendary but although I may be the under dog I will not be treated 2nd best!

Brandy's position is I am a bigger name and I have sold more records. I deserve top billing and a larger percentage of the gross sales!

Monica is not here for anyone trying to diminish her success. I don't blame her. I love Brandy down but I am sure Sonja is pulling strings and advocating for Brandy to get EVERYTHING.

Brandy and Monica pay scale is coming into question because they are securing their deal based upon percentages. They are NOT getting an upfront fee because this tour is a GAMBLE. Neither lady has ever done a tour of this magnitude. They will get a percent of gross sales per date. The issue is Sonja Norwood feels Brandy's percentage should be more because ain't nobody coming to see you GOONICA!!

Sonja is also HOT because Ray J wants to DJ the tour and Monica said ABSOLUTELY NOT. She does not want Ray J involved in the tour or getting paid!!!

LiveNation is hoping this tour will be a success and they can expand internationally. Xscape and SWV are planning to take their tour overseas next year. Livenation wants Brandy & Monica to follow suit!!

I had a feeling this tour would be messy because despite the nostalgic reunions for the camera these girls do not like each other!

This has turned into an ego and numbers game!!

What do y'all think? Sounds kinda true, especially the Nordwoods trying to make Ray-j a dj on the tour  sounds like something they would try to do

It's actually pretty brilliant. This is gonna be a SWV and Xscape scenario, I'm sure. Bran saw just a bit more commercial success, but Mon stayed on the charts after Bran had disappeared from them. Neither one is way more successful than the other

i chuckle when i read fans start asking for performances from her. bc it's always been very evident the entirety of her career she doesn't like performing and being in the entertainment business. which is the reason she moves the way she does.
this life as an entertainer is not her passion and she used to allude to that when she talked ab pepperdine in the 90s.
i know she's doing this tour strictly for the money & probably will be anxious for it to end. bc brandy signing up to do maybe 2 months of performing is something that lady for sure hates.

Idk I never believed it anyway.Monica's still sounds terrible and Brandy has been on three tours in her career and didn't finish two of them.
