It's kinda a bullshit award though. As long as the ARTIST of the cover wins the award and not someone saying "The artwork was my idea". This could be a way for some folks to actually win one though that normally wouldn't stand a chance

Album covers have always been pivotal to a body of musical work so it's highkey about time they added it. They already give awards to who they want and prevent awarding those they don't.
