At the end of the day, it's easier to hold other folks (ESPECIALLY  those we don't know) feet to fire without having to be self-aware of the political, economic and personal choices we make from the minute to the large all for the sake of a damn "hot take!" Like you thought you ate making this post. 

Lets judge common people for using plastic straws instead of holding the biggest destructors of the environment (big corporations, billionaires, etc) accountable. Same fucking logic. If you dont see the difference, i cant help you.

Me giving him 100€ per year for the odd small purchase i cant find anywhere else vs a celebrity with a big platform publicly supporting him by going to his wedding which probably means there is some further support for one another behind the scenes.

"Items i can't find anywhere else" yea that's the point.  It's supposed to be hard and an inconvenience but you're standing in your principles and dealing with it.  Imagine if people said during the bus boycott that it's too difficult finding an alternate way to work.  My lil 25 cent for the bus don't mean shit! Where else should they complain about it? On some new platform one of them made but most of the world is not using = they won't reach anyone with it? Protests and activism happens on these big social media platforms because everyone is using them. It's not perfect but that doesn't make it pointless or hypocritical. It's using what works best with what we currently have.

I'm not even into all that but i dont see how you can just justify this behaviour.
