Warner drowned off the coast of Costa Rica on Sunday, Costa Rican National Police told ABC News. Warner's official cause of death was asphyxia, police said.

Warner died near Cocles, a beach in Limon, Costa Rica, police said. Police said he was caught by a high current in the water and was discovered Sunday afternoon.

Warner was formally identified by Costa Rica's national police.

rip to him. the cosbys really was a game changer. it gave so much representation for black america. bill is a piece of work but he did fulfill his goal w the cosbys. theo & the whole family meant a lot to black america. black american tv was at its peak from the 80s until the mid 2000s.

Kinda sad that bill Cosby is behind bars as all this is happening . Almost like a double slap to the face

Almost makes me glad diddy got the lesser convictions . If they weren't able to prove he did what they were accusing him of we dont Need him in jail  for the rest of his life too

Hope he learned a lesson , pays his debt society based on what he was actually found guiltily of with his 5 years or so and sits down somewhere and does the diddy bop or something

maybe i read about it and forgot. i see he was released at the height of the pandemic in 2021 so that would make sense

so he served his time, im sure even those couple years for a man his age was pure hell

but ultimately a court found that the sentence was too much

i might have to do more digging to see what happened, but im sure there was good reason for the courts making that decision

they're not just gonna let someone walk free and inherently admit the system wronged him just cuz he asked nicely.
