I had no clue this man was free

 :guys:
good for him

he's in the last stage of his life and clearly is very little threat to anyone

i do believe he was involved in MESS, as GODverly Johnson said he was

so he served his time, im sure even those couple years for a man his age was pure hell
just because someone is old af doesnt mean they shouldnt be in prison for heinous crimes. Imo
he was in prison though babes

but ultimately a court found that the sentence was too much

i might have to do more digging to see what happened, but im sure there was good reason for the courts making that decision

they're not just gonna let someone walk free and inherently admit the system wronged him just cuz he asked nicely.

svvsvsvssvsvvs

That's not why he was released
as i mentioned i gotta read more into it a bit later to see exactly what happened and what the reasoning was

this is literally news to me

but im not pissed to hear he's not in jail anymore. am still satisfied he got some sort of jail time though
Project started: 2014 Wrapped up: 2024

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

i think he got off on a technicality. He probably deserved to stay in prison for the rest of his days
Must be a purple moon, feel like one of those nights...

Quote from: stillpretty on July 21, 2025, 07:29:13 PMnot that it matters much at this point but i wanna know exactly what happened/where (pool? out at sea? tub? etc.)

"accidental drowning" def leaves a lot of questions on the mind

It does matter and it's exactly where my mind went, it's giving Whitney. I really hope he wasn't on that stuff, don't recall him ever being the "party" type.
