i can kinda understand this

actually surprised the concept of The "Soul Train" Awards lasted as long as it did

and the "Hip Hop Awards"...with all the changes in hip-hop it's just a completely different era now - combine that with newer generations not really consuming "award shows" like the previous generations..it makes sense.

everyone really tunes in for the "BET Awards" tho
and no one bet not touch them :plea:

if anything this'll make more room for energy to make that show even better each year. it's still the best show on TV yearly
Project started: 2014 Wrapped up: 2024

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

I know Joe Budden is going to be happy about this... he's been saying this on his podcast for a minute...

I think it makes sense to consolidate it to one show (BET Awards) & just make the show bigger each year especially off of this year's success

Damn not the Soul Train Awards

I can see the BET Hip Hop Awards. I never watched.
