Yeah I'm watching it now and not hearing any apology

he was very GROWN and thats it. What he did say was that he wasnt making light of that man being murdered because he didnt find anything funny about that and who ever DID think he was making light of it?  I didnt consider what he said him changing his stance at all and he CONTINUED to lay into Trump and the FCC the whole monologue

There was clearly a compromise of sorts.

Jimmy showed remorse for his actions/words - especially with all the theatrics and tearing up.

In other words: He made amends.

This would fulfill the conditions of his return.

But he did it in a way where his fans won't feel as if he completely bent over backwards and took a stick up the ass .

This would maintain his dignity.

This is why we have some people in the thread saying he apologized, and others saying he didn't. It was well played.

A lot of assuming here

We don't know what happened behind the scenes, but we do know he didn't apologize and that he dragging Trump for 20 minutes

I'm not assuming that people are in the thread debating whether he apologized or not.

I'm not assuming that he showed remorse for his actions/words.

If there's a lie within those two lines above, please point it out.

It's pretty obvious what was done here and it's working, but if you choose to ignore that for the sake of being right after pages of senseless arguing over what I predicted would happen.

He literally spoke about there being talk of conditions if he came back and made a joke basically saying yea I didnt have to do shit. He spoke MULTIPLE times about the public being behind him and basically forcing the powers that Be hand. An apology is him saying what he said was wrong and he shouldn't have said it.  Point out to me where he took back what he alleged? The man is an adult. Did u expect him to come back on the air and say na na na na na, I'm BACK! Charlie Kirk is dead and he deserved it LOLZ! He never CONDONED Charlie Kirk being murdered EVER and him voicing that wasnt him conceding because that was never his original point or statement.  He focused on the people that he should've focused on and he stood in that.  TRUMP is trying to silence people and the FCC is enabling him. To add. He's still not fully back in the way he once was. Multiple local channels still can't air his show because their owners wanted a real IM SORRY to Charlie Kirk and a donation to his family, which it seems he did not agree to, so a lot of ppl have to catch it on Hulu or YouTube.
He's only back because their owners wanted streaming subscribers deactivated their accounts in protest not because he apologized
