They made the right decision recasting Toni and Lynn. Those ladies were not it

This pilot gives one season.

Toni and Lynn getting recast was a good move. These girls weren't giving.

 

Also the iconic theme song really completed the show. It feels so weird without it.

That Toni was awful. She had no kinda sass or oomph.

I remember Jill Marie & Persia confirming that back in 2020. They made the right call.

I'm also glad they did away with "Joan's thinking out loud" moments when the scene would pause, blow her face
up, and have her thoughts ramble. That would have made the show's lifespan shorter too. It was super corny.
