The gorls who tend to be considered "far" or "extreme" left are usually the ones pushing for real change. Change that threatens the powers that be.
Free healthcare, free college, absolute equality, and closing the wealth gap are considered "far/extreme left" policies. Reparations for the descendants of enslaved people are looked at as "extreme left" as well. Yet you're comparing them to the far right which stand on White supremacy, Christian nationalism, patriarchy, anti-LGBTQ+, and authoritarianism.
They aren't even comparable. One is CLEARLY worse than the other.
I do agree that both parties overall are full of issues. On the left side that would be the centrist and establishment Dems (Biden, Harris, Newsom, the Clintons, even Obama tbh). They are literally paid by lobbyists to obstruct real progress in favor of only small incremental change that doesn't costs their rich donors too much.
I give Obama a lil more credit though for the Affordable Care Act, but even that is weak compared to less prosperous countries who have universal healthcare. Countries WE regularly send money to.
Look at how Republicans AND Democrats both attacked Mamdani. Look at how the centrist Dems in power dragged their feet when it came to supporting him (Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, even Kathy Hochul the Governor of NY); when normally they're all about
"VOTE BLUE NO MATTER WHO!". That's because his politics are a threat to the very system keeping them rich and in power.
