honestly when I encounter Christians who believe homosexuality is a sin there's logically not much I can say to them
the book that Christians follow literally has scriptures in it (book of Leviticus) that kinda says a man isn't supposed to lie down with another man
and if they do, it's an abomination.
as long as the person isn't being disrespectful to me, i can respect that they're following what's in the "holy Book".
personally i see the Bible as a book with amazing stories/characters. like, AMAZING writing and concepts. and nothing more. but if someone literally takes it as gospel, I get it.
a lot of people fail to realize the ROOT of this all of this nonsense is literally in that book
but because many gays are "Christians" ourselves we'd rather hold individuals responsible for following it and ignore the scriptures that seemingly call us out
which is typical Christian behavior tbh. skim over the tea that offends or holds you accountable and enjoy the rest. and DARE anyone to point out the mess you have chosen to skim over

however, there are some people who are way too HYPER-focused on the seemingly anti-gay mess in the Bible. that's when it gets weird and becomes a witch hunt tea. but if someone tells me "i don't believe in that cuz the bible says XYZ" ....
i mean i'm not gonna sit there and MAKE them accept that some men like to get some dick and have relationships with other men. u don't believe in it cuz of the storybook you hold dear to ur heart...coo. got it. if u can accept that i feel that book is some made up tea with literally 0 evidence to support the idea that any of these characters exist/existed, then i can certainly accept that u believe in it.
now what's for lunch
