He used to co-sign a lot of the things Wendy would say about her back in the day.

Plus, the Breakfast Club did that Hoe Hall of fame on her when they used to do that Hoe Hall of Fame segment back in the day on different celebrities.

Just curious to see what he'll bring up and how he'll act.

I think Charla will ask some shady questions but he's not gonna act up like he used to

He most definitely gonna ask shady questions but Mya knows how to control an interview and spin the narrative onto different subjects. She's well media trained.

I agree with Charlemagne when he said she had a great run and should've had a  bigger career. But Mya has always preferred to be underrated than overrated even back in heyday.

I'm glad she address her laid back nature. For years, people thought she came across as an Ice Queen.

Didn't know Jess was such a fan but then again DMV stomping ground.

and I think this overrated vs underrated thing is Mya's way of coping now that it's 20 years later and nothing can be done about the past. She has all this music that ppl don't know and it's ridiculous

It does count at least in my eyes.

Mya always felt that way about the whole underrated vs overrated thing. In my honest opinion, I've always felt her father was living vicariously through her since he never truly made it as an established artist himself but I could be reading too much into it because she does have genuine passion for music.

She definitely needs to start performing her newer material regularly. I'm hoping she does follow through with that tour. I think it'll be an engaging and exciting show.

Wish the album dropped this week too but I can hold out another week.

Listening Party: Mýa's Forthcoming 'Retrospect'

She had a mini listening party recently on radio.

She pretty much played the singles (Give It To You with the D-Nice intro) with the exception of one track Good to You which is hot btw.

The album title came from her creative director/background dancer Derek Brown.

Every song she started from scratch with the exception of Good to You which was presented to her. She wrote the bridge for it.

The first half of the album is upbeat while latter half is introspective.
