Brandy's book is over 12 hrs. Literally longer than them all.
Tina Knowles and Barbra Streisand were the only biographies that are longer that I read. Tinas is almost 18hrs and Barbara's is 48hrs

I was trying to slow down tbh. I thought I had slowed down until I got to brandy saying "acknowledgements"

I was like shitttttt but yeah it's so good. I have no real complaints about the book.

Yea I'm enjoying it.  I had to pause because I have 2nd hand embarrassment.  She talmbout this man over there having a serious convo while she YELLS his name. I cringed

I'm so proud of her. The memoir is beautiful. It's honorable writing and she's telling her story on her terms. This isn't some cheap tell-all, but an eloquent, clear and concise sharing that is both healing for her and those who choose to engage the reading from a place of wanting to learn and grow and develop an appreciation from a woman whose had to endure childhood stardom, systemic hegemony, and personal challenges that has allowed her to come this far and share this version of story. Her blessings will continue to pour as a result. She is a beautiful soul, a strong woman and a powerful artists whose influence will echo for a lifetime. We are blessed to live and experience Brandy.
