did we need another
Yes, we did....her best work was with him, they've an undeniable musical chemistry
They do, but Rodney comes off so opportunistic. After Human, I can't even imagine what their sound would consist of and would he even be capable of delivering something fresh that they both could agree on?

Quote from: Vonc2002 on April 06, 2026, 11:31:18 AMThey had another collaboration and that was Human. Yall don't like that album.  I'm good on Brandy working with Rodney. There are tons of great producers out here and Brandy hasnt worked with enough of them imo

Harlem

Brandy should've just continued locking in with Timbaland (and Danja)... didn't understand the decision that Epic made with circling back with Rodney when Timbaland's track record during the 06-08 era with JT, Nelly Furtado and others was better than Rodney's

That James Fauntleroy and Timbaland album was something we needed in the 2010s

Lashawn Daniels and Kenisha are a huge part of that connection though and they both are gone. Rodney is still very capable of making good music but it's so many other producers, especially smaller ones who Bran could make music with...she limits herself and that's her fault

People are saying he's the dreamer.

Yup! That's Punchy. They look great together, but the way he treated her warrants him to seek mental health counseling.
Fkn idiot. Fumbling Brandy in her prime is CRAZY.
Chile lemme read this book...he proab doesn't feel like he fumbled her. He was a young choreographer and background dancer, he proab was fvckn on every industry gal
I'm bossy/I'm the first girl to scream on a track

FUCK Bey

!!!!!! Ghan limits herself and her creativity. She always likes to rely on one source - working with one person/team for a project instead of exploring new talents who are hungry and would give her their best.

I agree. I wish she would lock in with fresh producers. Her voice is so versatile. She has to spread her wings a bit more.

THIS is exactly the team she should be with imo
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

Is the book tour done? She should at least hit her biggest markets in DC and Atlanta
Come on mama

!!!

Exactly! She should've known when they came up with Drum Life, Believer, Home and Who's The Loser Now... I would've scrapped the whole Human project or at least moved on quickly after producing that

As much as I love 2/11, I would've took a whole Fauntleroy and Timbaland project instead and still will today b/c that's her bread & butter

I expected more promo/marketing, interviews, etc. Was it just a 2-day media push?? Ummmm..

Absolutely!! It definitely pushed her sound forward and it's still fresh today. People drop comments annually on YouTube just to say they are still listening to those songs.

We still have the J. Hud show.

However, with all the mess surrounding the book...the internet is pretty much promoting it

Brandy could never work with FATchild again and I'll be just fine.

Sis just call up Pharrell and have him executive produce the next album.
