These are the other male R&B acts he was up against. I feel like he fit right in.
Most of these artists delivered their R&B differently. It was something for everybody back then.
Also the twist gave O-Dog from Menace II Society. If that ain't black/hood (what girls liked back then), then I don't know what is. I don't think Tevin was ever really a heartthrob/ladies man type of artist. It never gave that from jump. Just like Luther Vandross.
