he is. Filipino and PR descent as well, and Jewish

he actually has a pretty interestingly diverse lineage

but he def leans more "Filipino" in his looks

he's def not of African-American heritage though. like at all.

when u really break it down Mexicans and Puerto Ricans aren't that far apart ancestrally

they're both a mix of Spaniards and Natives

which is why GOD-Lo got away with playing Selena damn near unscathed

a lot of Mexicans "look Asian" due to their Native heritage (Natives originally came from Siberia/Central & NorthEast Asia)

so this is why he can pull it off too even tho he leans Filipino IMO

this Mexican woman explains how people constantly insisting she was something other than "Mexican", even though she always identified as such, caused an identity crisis for her
