 It's not about whether Whitney had a drug habit. What does Oprah gain from mentioning this now after she's dead and gone?

saying "we all know she was a crackhead!" is such a simple way to frame this conversation IMO.

so good on her for having the foresight in that moment. she chose to share it now but personally i just think maybe it coulda stayed in her back pocket.

This was COMPLETELY distasteful.  It reminds me of when patti came to the front and confirmed Luther was gay.  I felt a lil LESS annoyed by that because Luther was in a see thru closet and we all knew but I understood why people were still bothered by it. This woman died because of drugs. Why tf would u come out here and add some more shit to the pot?

Pat Houston made the statement that Whitney's fall actually happened at soundcheck or something so it wasn't actually in front of the live audience
Which makes more sense why no one leaked any video. Oprah likely wasn't begging them not to do it, she was threatening to fire them or sue
