her debut was an acquired taste for many due to the alternative influence, but babyy

I prefer the original stole.  The album just wasnt good.  There were a FEW good songs but meh.  I think Brandy had sumn to do with writing one of the songs but not even that could move me to like it.  I think it was Love/Hate if my memory serves me correctly

My issue with Kelly is, there's nothing definitive about her music. She has some dope songs but they could have been sung by anyone.

i can see that argument but i
i think it's less about definitiveness and more about thematicality. i think she loves so many genres that her album are always divere but lack a theme. her k ep was the first project that felt thematic to me. and babyyy

That's kelly in general imo.  Beautiful girl but there's nothing SPECIAL about her to me.  I literally said to my friend when we saw her on TBIM tour that kelly just isn't a superstar imo.  She's the perfect group member but kelly doesn't need to be a solo artist
