BIIM was good too, however, I didn't particularly care for Phoebe Snow's version.

When I was younger I felt the same way. I used to change the channel quickly. I had no interest then, however I rediscovered it while attending college and fell in love with it and the characters.

I get the production critics but to me the production is very NOW and I see it being very fitting for this version. Does anyone know if its gonna be JUST sitcom or will there be a dramatic aspect as well?

I don't think it's sitcom, especially with the type of camera they used...just a dramatized version

yea I'm feeling a dramatic element as well. It fits imo

If Brandy's team is on her...pitch her to do a full soundtrack for a film or something.

This is so iconic and legendary! I love this for Brandy. Love that she is taking all of  opportunities that have been coming her way.

I do wish she gave a Moesha or collegiate styling for this to fully connect the dots... some braids, a Hillman crew neck, varsity, or cardigan... her branding be off 😭
