charlie.

but yeah that was messed up.
I do feel bad... they could've at lease let her finish answering and wrapped the interview.

Mel.

that was so rude...

I mean...fuck a Kendall, no shade, but who is she?
do they know that's Raven Symone? the one with the actually talent and career that spanned 20 years?

It's called karma
Hopefully now she knows she's in the same boat
as any other Black woman no matter what her name is

Mel.

it's not karma...

she never denied she was black.
she said she's not african american...she just considers herself black

for there to be karma, you would have had to do something wrong and I don't think she did. that's her truth

Mel.

and honestly, her stance made me think...
because I never really cared or thought too much about being labeled "african american" until she said that
and I cant say that I don't or do agree with her...

on one had I kinda agree and on the other I don't know if i agree
I was born here, I wasn't born in Africa, so why am i labeled african american? yeah..my ancestors are from Africa
but I'm not...I'm just american...a black amercian

I wasn't talking about her calling herself American
I was talking about the "Watermelondrea" comments
saying she wouldn't hire a woman based on that name
and now she sees even "Raven Symone" doesn't carry too much weight either compared to a "Kardashian/Jenner"
her body does though

Mel.

actual damn ly...
I don't know where I fit sometimes...

because I'm bi-racial, but it feels like I'm required by society to identify as one thing, when I'm not.
sometimes when I have to fill forms and things out, I have to choose what ethnicity I want to be labeled as
I would like to choose bi-racial, but that's not really an option and I cant fill in 2

#biracialproblems.....
